The short version
The Laguna NEO is the tall, rounded model in Alukov’s NEO range, built to cover large pools. Alukov puts it in its premium price segment and says it also suits public pools.
It is one of the few enclosures in the UK with published prices from more than one retailer. Those prices match to the pound, yet they cover different things.
What it costs
Both retailers show £32,500 for the smaller size and £49,600 for the larger, including VAT.
- Poolstore prices an enclosure 4.5 m wide by 8.5 m long, which it says leaves room for a 3.6 by 7.2 m pool, and a larger one of 5.5 by 10.5 m. Delivery (£1,900 to £2,100 including VAT for most of England and Wales) and installation (£600 to £1,000) are charged on top.
- DIY Garden Homes prices by pool size, 4 by 8 m and 5 by 10 m, and says its estimate includes transport, installation and VAT.
So the same headline figure differs by £2,500 to £3,100 depending on where you read it, and the two retailers do not describe the size in the same way. Treat both as guides. Each says the final price follows a site visit.
One caution. Both retailers call this model “Laguna”. Alukov’s current range lists it as “Laguna NEO”. We have treated them as the same model. If a retailer is pricing an older version, its figures may not carry over.
What the maker states
- Shape and height: rounded, in Alukov’s high class.
- Movement: sliding segments on tracks along both sides. Track in silver or bronze.
- Glazing: compact or twin wall polycarbonate, clear or smoked.
- Frame colours: silver, white, anthracite or bronze.
- Drive: by hand or motorised.
- Locking: the EASY UP system, with the segment locks raised so there is no need to bend down.
- Ventilation: the AIR FRESH system for letting fresh air in.
What we could not find
The Laguna NEO page gives no dimensions, no internal height, no glazing thickness and no wind or snow rating. Alukov’s general pages say its enclosures are tested for winds of up to 100 km/h, but nothing ties a figure to this model. The warranty wording is the brand’s general “up to 10 years on selected parts”.
For a product at this price, those are the first things to get in writing.
